Reading is very important to the Grannies and learning all about the world by opening a book is one of the best ways our children can become global citizens.
The Grannies have written a children's book, The Search for Jabulani's Family. It is a story about a little lost elephant that lives in South Africa, who, after getting lost from his family, is eventually reunited with them with the help of the Grannies. The book is entertaining and inspiring and is best-suited for children from four to eight years of age.
Future stories will be about a young Berber girl living in the Mid-Atlas Mountains in Morocco, adventures with Masoud in the Mangrove Swamps in Zanzibar, and Ersins' search in Istanbul for the ancient Medusa Heads.
The Search for Jabulani's Family is available now on a limited basis.
As we travel we always find items and treasures that amaze us. Many of them are arts, crafts and jewelry made by artisans in small hamlets or in some cases workshops that for centuries have been tucked away in neighborhood corners. So we hope you will find that special gift for yourself or others.
